5th NFEC Fire Safety Award 2026

We are pleased to announce that the NFEC is once again inviting participation from premises owners for the NFEC Fire Safety Award 2026, covering the assessment period from January 2024 to December 2025. This biennial award is supported by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and serves as a prestigious platform for organisations to showcase excellence in fire safety management and strengthen their industry reputation.

Objectives of the Award

The Fire Safety Award aims to recognise organisations that:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of fire safety within their premises.  

  • Promote sustained awareness and carry out proactive efforts to ensure buildings always remain safe from fire.  

Award Categories

Nominations are open to industrial and commercial premises across the following categories:

  • Industrial: Flatted Factories, Warehouses, Terrace Factories, and Others (e.g., Refineries, Waste Recycling Plants).

  • Commercial: Office Buildings, Hotels, Shopping Centres, Hospitals, and Retail Outlets etc.

Participation Details

We warmly encourage all Building Owners and Fire Safety Managers to nominate their premises.

  • Participation Fee: A nominal, non-refundable fee of S$90.00 applies.

  • Payment Method: Please remit via PayNow to UEN No. S86SS0064F.

  • Submission: Kindly email the completed participation form and the payment confirmation slip to secretariat.nfec@gmail.com.

  • Alternatively, you may mail forms to: The Secretariat, NFEC, Central Fire Station, 62 Hill Street, Singapore 179367.

  • Closing Date: All submissions must be received by 3 July 2026.

Judging and Results

  • On-site Judging: To be conducted between July and September 2026.  

  • Award Ceremony: Winners will be officially notified for the ceremony to be held in November 2026.  

We strongly urge the Excellence Award winners from 2024 to continue their participation and aim for a new inscription on the NFEC Challenge Shield. We look forward to your support and participation in promoting fire safety excellence in Singapore.
